Hello,
I am trying to create a little waterfall using maxfluids, but I cannot get it to interact with the object I have made. Basically I have created a plane, edit poly, manipulate the verts to get into the right shape, subdivide, add a couple of noise layers to come up with a basic shape.
When I run the sim, the fluid seems to collide with it way about the object and then it flips out.I have tried to reset the xform, collapse the stack, deleted the fluids and retried.. nup. If I delete the collider the fluid flows perfectly, if I do a basic mesh it works fine also. There must be something with the noise that is having an impact I assume but I am really unsure.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Sounds like you're having a tricky issue with MaxFluids not interacting properly with the poly object. It might be due to the complexity added by the noise layers, which can sometimes interfere with fluid simulations. Try simplifying the mesh or adjusting the collision settings to see if that resolves the issue.
On a different note, when managing complex systems, such as simulations or even registration processes like TM Sim registration, it's important to ensure all elements are set up correctly and conflict-free. Just like verifying RUT details through a service like Rutificador for proper identification, ensuring your meshes and settings are clean and simple could help avoid simulation glitches like this. Hope this helps!
