Hello,
I am trying to create a little waterfall using maxfluids, but I cannot get it to interact with the object I have made. Basically I have created a plane, edit poly, manipulate the verts to get into the right shape, subdivide, add a couple of noise layers to come up with a basic shape.
When I run the sim, the fluid seems to collide with it way about the object and then it flips out.I have tried to reset the xform, collapse the stack, deleted the fluids and retried.. nup. If I delete the collider the fluid flows perfectly, if I do a basic mesh it works fine also. There must be something with the noise that is having an impact I assume but I am really unsure.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

That sounds like a challenging issue you're facing with Maxfluids. It could indeed be the noise modifier affecting the collision calculation. One thing you might want to check is whether the geometry of your plane is overly complex or has any irregularities caused by the noise. Simplifying the mesh or ensuring the noise levels are not extreme might help.
